Dayara Bugyal Trek (Uttarakhand)

Overview

Dayara Bugyal trek is one of the most beautiful, mesmerizing, enjoyable, ‘any
season trek’ known as Himalayan Alpine Trek also. You trek across the finest, lush
green meadows of Himalaya, and thick dense forests of maple and dark oak trees
throughout the trek, culminating at Bakriya Top again with a lush green expanse of the
meadow. Along the entire stretch of the trek, one can get a magnanimous and
breathless panoramic view of gorgeous snow-capped peaks of Himalayan range of
Gangotri, Bandarpoonch, Black Peak, Srikanth Peak etc. Anyone with good physical
fitness, without any established medical problems can join the trek. Kids above 10
years of age along with their parents can also join for this 7-day trek. This trek is also
suitable for first timers as an ideal introduction to Himalayan adventures.

DAY 02:-Drive from Uttarkashi to Barasu and trek to Barnala Lake (45km) Drive Duration:1.5-2 hrs, Trek 4 km: Duration 2-3 hrs.Stay in tent⛺BLD

Day 03:- Trek from Barnala Lake (8,500 ft.) to Chula Padav (10,040 ft.) Trek Distance: 5 km | Trek Duration: 2-3 hrs Stay in tent⛺BLD

DAY 04:-Trek from Chula Padav (10,040 ft) to Bakriya Top & Back (12,431 ft) Trek Distance: 5 km | Trek Duration: 3 hrs Stay in tent⛺BLD

 01:-Registration by filling up google form and payment of Rs.10000/. You will be included in an exclusive WhatsApp group to receive trek updates, fitness tips, yoga, pranayama tips, list of trekking gear, travel plan etc. You also get peer support in your fitness journey.

 02:-The luggage, given to the porter/mules should be in a duffle bag or a rucksack. No suitcases or trolleys are allowed on mountains. Consider carrying 2 bags. One duffle bag to put extra luggage up to 10kg for porter/mules and a small daypack to be carried by yourself during the trek.

 03:- Carry following documents for permits: a) 2 copies of Aadhaar Card/Voter’s ID/Passport, b) 2Passport size Photos,

Fitness Level

 01:-Participants should be healthy and fit to cover 3-5km in 30min and should
have endurance to walk for 3-4 hrs continuously without strain.

 02:-Participants should not have any medical conditions that requires continuous
or immediate medical intervention.

 03:- Participants having mild diabetes, BP, asthma which they can manage on
their own with medication should get their doctor’s certificate.

04:-All participants above 50 yrs. should get their doctor’s certificate.

05:-Children of 10 – 18 age group should be accompanied by their parents.
