DAY 01:-Arrival in Shimla, Altitude: 7,200 ft Accommodation: Hotel in Shimla Activities: Check-in, rest, acclimatization, evening trek briefing Meals: Dinner 

DAY 02:-Drive from Shimla to Janglik, Altitude: 9,100 ft Distance: 180 km drive (6-7 hours) Activities: Drive through Rohru and Chirgaon to Janglik village Accommodation: Camping, Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 03:-Trek from Janglik to Dayara Thatch, Altitude: 11,000 ft Trek Distance 5 km Trek Duration: 4-5 hours Altitude Gain  1,900 ft Trail Gradual ascent through dense oak and pine forests, cross wooden bridges over streams, reach beautiful Dayara meadows with stunning mountain views Accommodation  Camping, Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 07:- Trek from Dhunda to Munirang via Buran Pass. Pass Altitude 15,000 ft (highest point) Camp Altitude 12,000 ft (Munirang) Trek Distance 8 km Trek Duration 8-9 hours Trail Early start (3-4 AM), steep climb to Buran Pass summit, thrilling descent with rappelling section, cross snow slopes and glacier, reach beautiful Munirang valley Accommodation Camping Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 08:-Trek from Munirang to Barua Village and Drive to Shimla Trek Distance  4 km, Trek Duration 3 hours, Drive Distance: 160 km (6-7 hours) Activities Descend to Barua village, get into vehicles, drive back to Shimla through scenic routes, check into hotel, celebration dinner.  02:-The luggage, given to the porter/mules should be in a duffle bag or a rucksack.
No suitcases or trolleys are allowed on mountains. Consider carrying 2 bags.
One duffle bag to put extra luggage up to 10kg for porter/mules and a small
daypack to be carried by yourself during the trek.

Fitness Requirements

  • Moderate to good fitness level required. One should be able to walk 6-8 hours with breaks. Start preparing 2-3 months before trek
  • Cardiovascular exercises highly recommended. Practice walking with loaded backpack
  • Build stamina through jogging, cycling, swimming, strength exercises, breathing.
