in your fitness journey.
02:-The luggage, given to the porter/mules should be in a duffle bag or a rucksack.
No suitcases or trolleys are allowed on mountains. Consider carrying 2 bags.
One duffle bag to put extra luggage up to 10kg for porter/mules and a small
daypack to be carried by yourself during the trek.
03:- Carry following documents for permits: a) 2 copies of Aadhaar Card/Voter’s
ID/Passport, b) 2 Passport size Photos,

Medical Considerations:
- Consult doctor before trek if you have any medical conditions. Carry all personal medications in sufficient quantity Inform trek leader about any health issues or allergies
- Not recommended for people with severe heart, lung, or knee problems, pregnant women should avoid this trek
- All participants above 50 yrs. and participants having mild diabetes, BP, asthma which they are managing with medication should get their doctor’s certificate.
Weather Conditions:
- May-June: Pleasant days (15-20°C), cold nights (5-10°C), snow on pass and higher camps September -October: Cool days (10-15°C), cold nights (0-5°C), clear skies, post-monsoon clarity
Buran Pass Crossing:
- Most challenging and thrilling part of the trek Technical section with steep descent (nearly 500 ft vertical drop)
- Rappelling equipment and training provided on-site Safety harness, ropes, and carabiners used. Expert guidance and support throughout Physical and mental preparation required.
Chandrernahan Lake:
- Sacred glacial lake at 13,500 ft. Source of River Pabbar Crystal clear blue-green waters. Religious significance for locals. Perfect for photography. Day trip from Litham with return
Mobile Network:
- Limited or no network during most of the trek. BSNL works best in some lower areas No network at higher camps (Dhunda, Munirang). Inform family before trek starts.
Permits & Documentation:
- All forest and camping permits included in package. Carry original government ID proof for verification. Photocopies not accepted at checkpoints.

Fitness Requirements
- Moderate to good fitness level required. One should be able to walk 6-8 hours with breaks. Start preparing 2-3 months before trek
- Cardiovascular exercises highly recommended. Practice walking with loaded backpack
- Build stamina through jogging, cycling, swimming, strength exercises, breathing.
