Overview
Langtang is situated north of the Kathmandu Valley, bordering Tibet. Langtang Valley can be reached by a day’s drive from Kathmandu, this area is still unknown to the majority of trekkers. Langtang Valley Trek traverses from the west to the east, crossing extremely diverse landscapes such as rice terraces, rhododendron forests, in the highest part you will find rocks and shrubs wilderness with incredible backdrops of snowy peaks and an arena of glaciers below Langtang Lirung (7,225m). Langtang Valley Trek passes through Langtang National Park, ensuring pristine countryside and flora and fauna, as well as yak pastures and even home-based cheese factories! Himalayan pheasants, Himalayan deer, Himalayan bears, monkeys, and the elusive red panda, are native to this region.

Tour Itinerary
DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN KATHMADU (1345m)
On your arrival at KTM airport, our representative will receive you and transfer you to the hotel. You will meet and bond with other team mates, briefing for the trek, final purchases for the trek, if any, packing etc.
DAY 02: DRIVE TO SYABRUBESI (1530m) 5-6 hrs
After breakfast, we drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, a village which is also the starting point for treks into the Langtang valley. Our journey will be on a winding road through frequent switchbacks. On a clear day we get to enjoy outstanding views of Manaslu, Annapurna and Ganesh Himal. Overnight at Syabrubesi. (BLD)
Day 03: TREK FROM SYABRUBESI TO LAMA HOTEL (2380m) 7-8 hrs
After breakfast, we begin our trek from Syabrubesi along the Langtang Khola. We ascend and descend simultaneously through oak and rhododendron forests. After crossing a bridge over the Langtang Khola (small river), we ascend on a steep trail which will lead us to the Lama Hotel. Overnight in Lama Hotel. (BLD)
DAY 04: TREK FROM LAMA HOTEL TO LANGTANG VILLAGE (3540m) 6-7 hrs
We continue ascending from Lama Hotel and enjoy the mountain landscape with abundant waterfalls. As we reach the green meadows of Ghoda Tabela, we begin to see the white peaks of the Langtang range. Our trail continues to climb up the widening valley, passing a few temporary settlements used by herders. We pass a Buddhist monastery before reaching the Langtang village. Overnight in Mundu. (BLD)
DAY 05: TREK TO KYANJIN GOMPA (3800m) AND EXPLORE AROUND 4-5 hrs
After breakfast, we will start our journey to Kyangjin Gompa, a principal monastery of the region. We pass by water mills, prayer wheels, chortens, with sacred mounds of rocks with inscriptions carved on them. We also pass by the largest Mani wall in Nepal, made from stone with prayers written on them. After the short trek, we spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the Buddhist shrine in Kyangjin Gompa and surrounding areas with the amazing views of the mountains. Overnight at tea house. (BLD)
DAY 06: HIKE UP TO TSERKO RI (5000m) AND BACK TO KANJIN GOMPA 8-10 hrs
Start early in the morning. The trail passes through yak pastures before ascending to Tserko Ri. The sunrise view from the top of Tserko Ri is extraordinary. We get back to Kyangjin Gompa by late afternoon and explore the beautiful monastery while enjoying views of the Himalayas, glaciers, birds and yaks. Overnight at tea house. (BLD)
DAY 07: TREK BACK TO LAMA HOTEL (2380m) 7-8 hrs
After breakfast and retrace our steps to Lama Hotel. Most of the trekking today will be downhill as we pass through forests and beautiful Tamang villages. We also get to enjoy different views of the Himalaya that we had missed while climbing up. Overnight in Lama Hotel. (BLD)
DAY 08 TREK BACK TO SYABRUBESI & DRIVE TO KATHMANDU (1300m) 9-10 hrs
After early breakfast trek back for 3-4 hrs to Syabrubesi and continue drive to Kathmandu. Lunch will be arranged on the way. Evening farewell dinner at Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel (BLD)
DAY 09: DEPARUTRE FROM NEPAL
Final day in Nepal. Airport drop by vehicle will be arranged as per flight time (B)

Basic fitness and strength required for Trekking
- One should be able to hike for 6-7 hours a day.
- One should be able to carry 3-4 kg in a backpack for preparation.
- We suggest you walk/run about 5-7km for the preparation with some load on your
- back for 1 month to make your trekking much easier. Or use a treadmill for everyday run/walk. Once a week, increase the mileage by 1km.
- If you have an uphill location/mountain then once a week you should go hiking with a loaded backpack on your back. If you do not have mountain and elevation then use stairs to go up/down than elevator/escalator.
- Regular Yoga, Pranayama, swimming, also helps to maintain your physical fitness.
- Participants should not have any established medical conditions that requires continuous or immediate medical intervention.
- Participants having mild diabetes, BP, asthma which they can manage on their own should get their doctor’s certificate.
- Fitness certificate for trekkers above 50 yrs is mandatory.

- Apart from Geographical safety, we have taken precaution in following things to make travel as safe as possible making the most out of it without any worry!

- Trek leaders and guides have years of trekking experience who can help you if there is any kind of uneasiness and assure happiness & satisfaction.
- Encouragements and motivation will be everyday perks
- Strongly suggest not to consume Alcoholic drinks, caffeinated items, hot chocolates, smoking as experts suggest to avoid such items during high elevation treks, which will affect your respiration.
Passport and Visa
All foreigners except Indian nationals must have a valid visa to enter Nepal. Visa is available on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport upon entry in Kathmandu, Nepal, and at Nepal borders of India and Tibet. Visa can be easily extended at the central immigration office. www.immigration.gov.np Visa application requires a passport with at least 6 months until expiration and one passport size photo.

- Nearest airport is Pantnagar which is about 45km away from Haldwani
- There is a Shatabdi train running from Delhi to Haldwani
- Participants should not have any established medical conditions that requires continuous or immediate medical intervention.

Booking and Payment Policy
- Registration by payment of Rs.10,000/- by Bank transfer. Once you register, you will be included in an exclusive WhatsApp group of group members and you will receive regular fitness schedule, tips on yoga and pranayama, list of trekking gear etc. You also get peer group support in your fitness journey.
- Balance amount before 29th Feb 2024.
- Carry following documents for permits (a) 2 copies of Aadhaar Card/Voter’s ID/Passport (b) 2 Passport size Photos.
Cancellation Policy
- It is good to make your booking two months prior in advance. In the event of
cancellation of tour due to any reasons, it is compulsory to notify us in writing.
Cancellation will only be effective from the date we receive your request in writing. - If the trek is cancelled by us due to any reason (heavy snowfall, rainfall, natural disaster, political situations, etc.) then the refund would not be initiated but you can go on another trek/tour next year with us.

- 31-44 days, 25% deduction
- 15-30 days prior 50% deduction
- Less than 15 days 100% deduction.
